geophysicist, Michael Altman, assigned to a mission to the Yucatan peninsula, it detects strange fluctuations in gravity into a crater. Some past and alien lurks in the depths of the ocean, something that can benefit mankind ... or maybe not. "

Comment & Opinion: We

I put a little background ... The book recounts the events that occurred well before the first game of the series, the events that led to the discovery of the first statue in a submarine crater in Mexico and led to Dr. Altman to become the symbol of a new religion.

We'll see ... for those who have not played the game ... just one little thing ... To that you are waiting for ... So the first part of it (he got to have me sitting in the chair until the wee hours of the morning dismembering necromorphic) as the second part of it (which the above is to add an additional tension load as the game gets "acojonarte "directly with a combination superb lighting and sound effects) are the very best action games of terror that I've missed the "throat" ever ... are amazing ... but anyway ... I bypass ... back to the book ... As I said ... for those who have not played a game this past you just tell the story centers on a strange alien device that turns human beings into contact with a kind of deformed and mutated creatures with a craving attack that have no end. To make matters worse, these human creatures there is no way to stop them unless you engage in systematically dismantling them (yeah. .. I know they will think now is a savage and nasty game ... that really is ... when you see that I check up on the screen a bug with scythes that come out of the shoulders, his mouth contorted and running down the flank angle of the mouth all you want is to dismember dismembered it stops moving towards you).

In the game, embody Isaacs systems engineer who finds himself in an incredible surrounded necromorphic Mogollon (mutated humans) that only they want a snack.

The novel, however, addresses another part of the story is not known (which I loved), ie focusing on the previous years in which the first effigy found on Earth.

During the game often referred to as Dr. Altman is the leader of the religion of Unitologia (religion based on worship of the alien artifact), and the novel focuses on the figure of the charismatic leader. However, the book will show us something that is sensed in the games ... We show that the dr. Altman, far from being a psychopathic leader of a totally destructive religion is just a researcher who has discovered something that surpasses it.

During a research stay in Mexico with his girlfriend discover a gravitational anomaly that has its focus in the midst of an underwater crater.

His research led him to get in trouble with a great company of methods "little clear "that he has discovered the anomaly and is studying it. Altman will be seen in the simple situation of having "associated" with this company and receive an extra dose of lead in the head with it, obviously, decides to join the investigation (also motivated to discover that is generating this anomaly).

After several dives into the crater (some with very unpleasant results ... say no more) manage to get an image of the object that is generating the signal ... is a kind of effigy is buried in a sediment layer suggesting that an age is well above the human race ... Is it alien? ...

But as the days passed the expedition members begin to be affected by the presence in the vicinity of the statue ... start to have outbreaks psychotic and homicidal impulses .... The thing is beginning to spin out on the other hand, several expedition members begin to develop a maddening religion around the portrait and to consider their prophet Altman (Altman refuses thing because it believes that all these people have lost a screw) .

After numerous excavations get hoisted the effigy to the sea floor and that's when I stop and tell the story enters the final vortex ... say no more ... you have to read it.

And now my personal opinion (although it has been more or less exposed in the previous text) ... I liked the book that blew for several reasons: 1 .-

I did not expect this development of history. Namely, I expected a staging of the games or at least something to continue with the plot that appears in this and to give meaning to the title of the novel Dead Space ... Well .... Forget SPACE TOTALLY see it anywhere in the book. The novel takes place entirely on Earth and focuses on the story of Dead Space from the perspective of a prequel that serves to greatly enhance the game's story and provide a totally different vision of what I, at least I had done of the Church of the Unitologia.

2 .- I liked the approach of the "reluctant prophet" because, after having spent the last two games Dead Space, the mental image I had of Altman was a "gridding" who had set up a religion unsettling and not that of a poor scientist who while fighting against the same religion without eating or drinking becomes the spiritual leader of the same ... is ironic and I liked this approach of "do not want soup? ... it takes three cups "

3 .- At last find a novel based on a game console that does not merely recreate what I've played but it provides and enriches the story you feel like making me return to spend two games. 4 .- I

mola psychotic environment that exudes the novel as the characters, even looking to where are rushing inexorably, are unable to turn around the situation to save ...

In short ... I liked it and has given me great satisfaction (as King would say in his Christmas address) to be a novel based on a game ... and, indeed .... really .... if you have not played Dead Space you do not become an idea of \u200b\u200bwhat you're missing ... as I leave a video showing the last game but I see that has NOTHING to do with the book we are talking about ... well ... necromorphic what are the SI and the oppressive environment the book is similar to the video, saving the details that are not in the SPACE. Kind regards and

be scared .... jejeje

This rock magic, coveted by the Skaven, could provide the power Nagash unstoppable evil ...

Time Series Legends continues with the second volume of the trilogy about the rise of Nagash, a story of power and revenge. "

Comment and Opinion:

Well ... I've finished the second part of the trilogy Nagash (it took me a tad more to finish this book curre issues and not because the book was not good).

We'll see ... I put a bit of background about the book.

one hand we will find that the old Empire dominated by the strong and cruel hand of Nagash has ended after the insurrection of the kings (pharaohs rather) than the prospect of ending up zombies decide to take up arms Nagash against and eventually defeating the end of the first novel.

few centuries later the battle (remember that at this time the longevity of the characters is apparent, the kings and pharaohs may be living without problems almost nearly half a millennium) we find that the city state has Lahmia raised with the market power of the area taking advantage of the hardships they had gone through its sister cities because of the war Nagash.

However, the lust for power of the king of Lamia, Lamashizzar, and his consort, Neferata, has led them to keep alive one of the "right hands" of Nagash, Arkhan Black, with the unhealthy idea The instruction in Nagash necromantic arts. Arkhan

educating the anger slowly (in exchange for his life) in the dark arts of his former master and anger leading gradually towards the elixir of eternal life ideo Nagash and requires a fundamental ingredient to work .... human blood ... This anger

poisoned the lives and souls of those involved in this coven to reach a new heights (and here I remain silent and that each person discover the rest for yourself).

On the other hand, we find that, in the north, Nagash rises from his death and is left with almost no strength in the midst of the northern wastelands. The power has been virtually abandoned and is exhausted (normally .. considering that they had killed him.) And here is where your story takes a sharp turn ... while wandering half dead (second time of course) by the northern desert comes upon a survey party of Skaven. Without much ruthlessly and yet despite being so weak, kills them all and found among his remains the discovery that changed everything ... a small bag with warp stone.

Realizing the power that emanates from the stone decided to eat a little and quickly sees that his forces again and again that the power flow of the ... has found a source of power that I never imagined ... and thus, satisfied by the power of the warp stone is heading north ... attracted by the "smell" of the warp stone that seems to emanate from these latitudes. Thus

get in contact with the northern tribes that seem to be very familiar with the aforementioned stone.

Nagash, as "peaceful" and "good people" as it was decided to take control of the largest deposits of stone warp there for those sites and, in turn, re-create his army of undead ... Nagash, the king of the dead, will load ... And this story does not tell you more, the rest that everyone read it.

And now my personal opinion ... the truth is that as the book progressed each time I was training more and more the classic taste that sticks in your mouth when you see that the novel you are reading is a novel by connecting two volumes TRANSITION EPIC.

mean ... Nagash the first book I LOVED ... the truth is I took it reluctantly and hoping it was a potato and I found that I was pleasantly wrong ... The first book was a pass (in my humble opinion).

But this second book, although it is pretty good and quite entertaining, gives the impression of being just a link with what will be the third book in the series and promises to be an epic confrontation between the army reborn Nagash undead and their former subjects now led by the city of Lahmia.

see ... to understand me ... this novel is to be "The Empire Strikes Back Star Wars ... I mean ... this very well, but as the story progresses you see coming that the novel will end without a conclusion and leaving everything open to await the next volume.

Anyway ... summarizing ... I had a good reading it but I was left with a huge desire to know as just the thing ... I mean ... I ended up longing for the older classes of literature in which it was said that every story is:

- An introduction
- A Knot
- an outcome .... and this is where I wonder .... And the outcome ?.... This is not !!... wait until now to disclose the following ...

Kind regards and enjoy reading
